This guide is for candidates interviewing at Menlo. Thanks for your interest, and here's what to expect from our process.
We know interviews can be stressful. If you need any accommodations, let us know and we'll do our best to help.
Quick Links
Process
In total, we have 3-4 rounds of interviews around 30-40 minutes each.
-
Application: Apply through our Careers page.
- Submit one resume, and you'll be considered for all open roles.
- We review every resume within 5 business days.
- Out of courtesy, we don't send rejection emails at the screening stage. If you don't hear back within 5 days, your resume may have been archived for future opportunities.
-
1:1 interviews: Candidates interview with 3-4 different team members in total. If you live near one of our office locations, this may be combined into a single 1.5-hour interview.
-
Deliberation: We aim to make a decision within 1 week.
Interview Preparation
To prepare for interviews, please review the following:
-
All roles: Prepare a 10-minute presentation on something you are proud of, e.g., a project you coded, a paper you published, or a robot you built.
-
For technical roles: Interviews will include a live coding test, e.g., an AI-assisted coding test. Ensure you can screen share and have set up your local dev environment.
Please ensure you have the adequate tools as well as conducive environment for us to have a chat with you. Interviews are tough, so ensuring you are operating at your best allows us to get to know you better.
